Dakota Lane is the author of four award-winning young adult novels and short fiction collections for adults. She is a journalist and photographer with work appearing in VILLAGE VOICE, INTERVIEW MAGAZINE, NEW YORK TIMES, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, SAN FRANCISCO MAGAZINE and many more publications. Her literature has been translated into Italian, German and Danish. She has taught in libraries, bookstores and schools across the country, and has been featured in special month-long workshops and retreats, as well as special literary events. She was a Yaddo fellow. She worked with displaced youth in post-Katrina New Orleans.
She is currently working with a few individual clients and will consider others--whether beginning writers or professional authors. Available for retreats, festivals and workshops, as well as appearances in schools and libraries.
